I'm so glad there's such a delicious cozy small Korean restaurant in our neighborhood. It's a gem! The cheese teokbokki and pork feet (jokbal) here were probably the best I've ever tried, so much better than what could be found in Ktown. Sometimes, I grab kimbab as quick lunch from here and it's great. When the weather is cooler either in the spring or fall, I also enjoy sitting outdoor and have their soup & rice! I tried their hot & spicy veggie and meat stew and it was so flavorful and comforting.
Cute and cozy restaurant in the neighborhood. The food was good, my girlfriend especially liked the cheesy spicy rice cakes. I got the bibimbap and it was not bad! It was a busy night but the service was attentive.
Maybe I came at the wrong time, the hot chicken bibimbap was the worst Korean food among the 50+ Korean restaurants I have visited. Eggplant , bean sprouts, chicken were all under cooked. Ramen jajangmyeon tasted okay.
It’s a very cute place. The person working was really generous and helpful! The food was delish. I especially enjoyed the spicy sauce alongside the boneless chicken.
Ordered to go the spicy rice cakes, bulgogi kimbap and kalbi. They were all soo good but my fave is the kimbap. I will be trying out their other dishes.
Don't know if there was a change in ownership, management, chef, supplies or what, but this restaurant has improved a lot. Had the tteokbokki, and the spicy jokbal. I recommend both, in particular the spicy jokbal if you like your food "exciting." it's essentially jokbal tossed in a spicy sweet and savory sauce then grilled/roasted so things get all caramelized and extra delicious. I used to typically come here for the kimbap, which are made fresh to order. Those are always a hit at parties. Don't get the sad old pre-made ones from hmart. Get kimbap that someone made an effort to make, get them here.
Don't go here, but go Manhattan, Flushing or even at Mokja in Astoria. Food is way too sweet with lots of sugar in, a tiny one side dish served is joke for price they charge, thats not a Korean restaurant. Not even rice bowl served for expensive $20-30 dish meal you order. I really don't understand so many good reviews for this restaurant at all. Never again for me!
The food was absolutely delicious! This was my second time going and i had the same server Kim, both times and she was wonderful and hospitable! I would recommend this restaurant a million times and then some!
